I know, I know, especially you Minnesotans are going, big fat deal.
Well, it is a big fat deal if you have lived in a house for five years and never lit it on the ten or so cold days a year because both you and your spouse have a deep suspicion and fear of natural gas. If that is indeed the case, it is quite an achievement to say a prayer, stick the key thingy in, turn it, then take a deep breath as you stick the lighter under the fake logs and wait for the house to blow up.
It didn't blow up!
And, now the weather is back to a crisp 77 degrees and the a/c is back on.
