Thank you SO MUCH for helping us raise the ransom to bring our baby girl home!!

Thank you SO MUCH for helping us raise the ransom to bring our baby girl home!!
These shirts reference Ephesians 1:3-14, which says
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding. And he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times will have reached their fulfillment—to bring all things in heaven and on earth together under one head, even Christ.
In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, in order that we, who were the first to hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation.
Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession — to the praise of his glory.
This means that if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, then, my sister or brother:
you are adopted.
Now go tell the world!!

They look great! I can sympathize with the paypal; issues. When we did this for my friend, we did the drop down menu for sizes but the sizes preferences didn't show up once they were ordered. I'd love to know if it works for you. Cause have you SEEN my horrible sidebar? Yikes!
ReplyDeleteI pray this is very, very fruitful for you guys! I'm so excited about Baby Bethie!

ReplyDeleteBoth of our girls joined our family through the miracle of domestic adoption. What a blessing they are.
Best of blessings in your adoption journey. Will enjoy reading updates!

What fantastic t-shirts!
ReplyDeleteI don't know anyone adopted, but if I did, these would make a great gift!
What size shirt are you wearing in the picture? And let us know when the onesie's are ready...adorable!
ReplyDeleteMIS!!! Look at all that I've missed!!!! :) I've been so MIA from blogland for so long, and here you are adopting!!! I would LOVE to catch up sometime. You helped me so much through Lily's adoption and through my issues with birth parents and finding peace and comfort with being Lily's mom - I can never, ever thank you enough for it, and I can't say how thrilled I am that you guys are adopting!!! Email me sometime (since you have SO much free time on your hands) I would LOVE to catch up! I'm off to read the past six months of your entries. Praying for you guys!!
ReplyDeleteLove,
Karalee (Kat from They Grow In Your Heart)
Praying all goes well for you- I can't wait to answer the questions that get asked when I wear this shirt!

This is probably my favorite adoption shirt I have seen. It is not about need in the world or doing something sacrificial. We adopt because we were adopted in Christ! Praise Jesus!
ReplyDeleteAWESOME! Hubby was adopted by his grandparents! I'll have to ask him if he wants one!
ReplyDeleteSome of my favorite verses!! What a great idea!
ReplyDeleteI was at an "If You Were Mine" adoption conference and the speaker asked how many of the roughly 300 attendees were adopted... a few raised their hands and then he said, "Open your Bibles to the book of Ephesians." And then he re-asked the question and we all raised our hands! I'll never forget that! We were ALL adopted into the family of God if we are believers. (My two boys were both adopted into our family, and the oldest has been had a double adoption... into our family and God's family). :) - Michelle
ReplyDeleteNice shirts, btw. I'll spread the word.
i love these, miss!! and we all need shirts, right?? can't wait to love me some baby bethie!! xoxo

ReplyDeleteCongrats on adopting! We just arrived home from Ethiopia with our little girl almost 2 weeks ago-we are so blessed!!!
ReplyDeletevery nice!
ReplyDeleteUm, was that always your SIL in the picture? Cause I swear I think I know what you look like (having never really met you...but still...I've seen pics.) and I honestly thought it was you...and obviously its not. I'm embarrassed. BUT- I am going to claim newborn-sleep-deprived-brain as my excuse. And also, I shall buy more shirts. And I shall buy one in my pre-pregnancy size as motivation...thats right...even my pre-pregnancy t-shirts are too tight still. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteWell, Steph is about ten years younger than me BUT I do also frequently do a double take whenever I see pix of her because I think they are me!
ReplyDeleteI found your blog on my friend Jenine's site. We are adopting our 2 unknown to us but known to God children from Ukraine later this fall. The process has taken longer with my husband in Afghanistan and me in Italy but it is coming along. i love the idea of your shirts. Can you tell me how you came up with the idea? We are still trying to raise about half our adoption and are trying to find ways to raise money. Thanks for your beautiful blog and your beautiful family.
ReplyDeleteOrdered one for myself just now. Can hardly wait to get it!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to buy my hubby a Tshirt, but we are in Australia. How does that go with postage?
ReplyDeleteGreat idea. We are getting ready to bring home our sisters from China...not twins, 7 and 9

ReplyDeleteMissy! We just got the onesie for our son Knox! I love it! It reminds me of the song I used to sing as a kid, "I Am Adopted... I'm a special kid you see." I'll bet you know the one. We're excited for your adoption, and are praying and hoping that God has one in the works for us too. ~Erin Huffman

ReplyDeleteI would love to buy some shirts to sell for a fundraiser. How do you go about it? I'm getting a new nephew from Uganda and hopefully a daughter from China ;o). Great shirts! It'll be a hoot to put one on my 7 year old that tells me he wished I never adopted him! Poor baby, I had to tell him the bad news...he's not really adopted! I gave birth to that bad egg! Loved your posts about the not so friendly advice you've received. I have heard many of the same comments. It helps to hear from others who are keeping their eyes fixed on Jesus.
ReplyDeleteI was looking at your blog b/c you are a fellow adoptive family who is also on Rossi's adoption blog...I absolutely love this onesies & would love to purchase one to support you also for our newborn when we adopt them domestically...if you could let me know how to go about doing this at bkmulder@hotmail.com...that would be great!! Thanks!! Kari
ReplyDeleteI think I am ready to order...can I still get a onesie from you?
ReplyDeleteI bought one of your T-shirts in order to support your adoption. I do not remember the exact day, but the day the transaction went through my bank was on August 5th. I still have not received my T-shirt. I was wondering if you know what happened to it. I would really like to have it and I would love to support an amazing cause! I tried to E-mail you but never received a response. Could you please check into this for me! Thank you in advance.
ReplyDeleteThese shirts are wonderful! I would LOVE to get these for all of our family members sometime. We tried to do a couple of T-Shirt fundraisers when we were going through the adoption process, but it never took off. Bummer. I really like the simplicity of these!
ReplyDeleteAli
Hi! I was going to order a shirt, but the button isn't working for me. :(
ReplyDeleteIs there another way to purchase?
And are there any 2XLs available?
ReplyDeleteI love the shirts! I am interested in buying a women's medium in black. Do you have any available? You mentioned emailing you for availability, but I cannot find any email address for you or any link to emailing you. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteAny chance I can get a large women's t-shirt? I LOVE them!!!
ReplyDeleteps....my e-mail is scjchardy@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteI found you through We Are Grafted In and your post about kid's worship music!
Hi Missy! My husband and I are also in the process of an Ethiopian adoption of a little baby girl. Just finishing up our dossier this week. It's so good to see other families like yours!
ReplyDeleteI was searching for a t-shirt that said "adopted' like the Third Day "Children of God" video and found your website. So glad I did.
I'd love to buy matching shirts for my whole family from you. Any plans to make more men's shirts? I've got myself and my husband (probably S for me and L for him) and three kids, one 5T, one 4T and one 2T and then one onesie for baby girl? If that's possible, let me know! psalm96@me.com.
