Adorable! I have a friend in the same phase as you are who is waiting for the word to go pick up her son from Korea. I pray for both your daughter and her son to be with their parents soon.
Like I said on FB, I get it. Not in the same way, but I get it.
We should have been landing in Kenya right about now, beginning our Africa Based Orientation and acclimating to life in Africa. But God chose to stop that for now. And while I know our being here for now is best for us, best for our kids and ultimately God's desires, I LONG to be near the people we are suppose to be ministering to. I long to shake their hands, hug their necks, squat with them in dirt and try to understand their language.
Same emotion, a different kind of love, and totally different circumstances. But I get it.
Do you have any updates on how your embassy case is going? Are you going to be at C4C at the end of the month? I will be and would love to meet you so I'm not just one of those unknowns reading your blog:)

Mary, momma to many, including 2 from Korea and 4 from Ethiopia
I don't blame you one bit. She is absolutely beautiful, and you can see her personality shine through the screen. You are so blessed. And so is she.
ReplyDeleteI hear you mama. Waiting for our sweet one too.
