contact

I love email. I do. But the problem is I am always on my iPhone aka my brain and when I answer people on my iPhone it automatically adds them into autofill in my contacts so I end up with a bunch of people popping up that I don't know and this drives me nuts so instead I say I will answer them when I get home and can get on the real computer and then when I do get home I have to share my computer with four kids and by then your email has gone off the screen and I may never remember it again because I used to be smart but after four pregnancies and one adoption, not so much.

But you can still try me: itsalmostnaptime at gmail

  1. Dear Missy,
I have read your blog for a couple of years now...I love your authenticity and your love for Jesus and butterflies and your zany family. (I have one too.)

Thrilled for your referral!!! As a mom (who has adopted)...I am overjoyed for your sweet Bethie. I remember pouring over our picture and praying for the "first tooth" to not come through BEFORE I GOT THERE! I will be praying for you and yours....many blessings.

  2. P.S. Oh...I just HAD to tell you that my little girl (adopted from Russia) sucked her fingers EXACTLY like Bethie. :)

  3. Thank you.

I vaguely remember clicking on a link from Facebook (which I never do), from a post of an old classmate from high school (which I never read), and ending up on your blog bawling my eyes out...because suddenly, I didn't feel so alone. Now, I have given it some time, so the cynic in me is making agreements that you are way too much of a celebrity to be real, or to be genuine, or to be someone that might actually be my friend. But this little microscopic speck in my heart says it doesn't matter...because what I needed at that very moment was to not feel so alone. And that was grace; which is a real, genuine gift from a Friend. So Missy, you can go on being whoever you are (as if you weren't going to), and I release you from the expectation of perfection (whew, I knew you were worried that I wouldn't)! But, seriously...you were a vessel...and you made a difference...

    Thank you.

  4. Let me get this straight, you waiting from August 2010 until September of 2012 for a referral? Oh my! How difficult was that?

  5. Stumbled upon your juicing blogs from a year ago, they are very funny and helpful. I read a couple of others. I enjoy reading your thoughts, struggles, godly inspirations. Thank you for sharing this ministry. I've been blessed by your words.

  7. Dear Missy - if I email you at the above email address will you get it? I'd like to say something but it's on more of a personal level.
